Understand the four layers
Brand Voice is not one long prompt. The workspace separates voice rules from brand facts, knowledge, and reusable writer profiles so each type of context can be maintained and reviewed independently.
- Overview
- Readiness and the active profile summary
- Voice Rules
- Tone, vocabulary, style, and avoid-list
- Brand Context
- Company, audience, positioning, products, and approved facts
- Writer Profiles
- Reusable personas with model and workflow configuration
Create a useful profile
- Name the profile by role or editorial purpose.
- Define observable tone and style rules instead of vague adjectives.
- Add preferred vocabulary and explicit avoid-list items.
- Attach only knowledge that is authoritative for the site.
- Choose a live base model and test the profile before using it in a campaign.
Know what belongs elsewhere
Article length, image configuration, internal links, research defaults, and provider keys are article mechanics. Keep them in Article Settings or Search Growth instead of duplicating them in the voice.
Draft-specific angles belong in Create Content direction or custom instructions. This keeps the shared voice stable while allowing one article to differ.
