Connect content sources

Add and route RSS sources, monitor scheduler health, and turn eligible feed items into controlled draft work.

Use RSS for recurring intake

Sources stores recurring RSS inputs for the active site. Each saved source has a schedule, status, model, voice, and optional destination routing. The scheduler claims eligible work; it does not duplicate queue logic outside the API.

Use a source when new feed items should repeatedly enter BlogFactory. Use Create Content for one-off URLs, PDFs, text, or videos.

  1. Add the feed URL and verify it resolves to a usable feed.
  2. Choose the site-scoped voice, model, schedule, and routing.
  3. Run once to validate the result before relying on the schedule.
  4. Inspect generated drafts and adjust the source if irrelevant items enter the queue.

Monitor source health

Filter all, news, active, paused, or routing states. The health summary shows due sources, paused sources, scheduler errors, and which sources are contributing posts.

Pause a problematic source before changing its configuration. Delete only when its recurring intake should end; existing drafts remain separate content records.
